Buzzballz are handy little ready-to-drink cocktails served in round containers aka balls or ballz, if you prefer. We figure today is the perfect day to get the word out about these helpful (in terms of “getting one drunk rapidly and pleasantly) canned cocktails, and we’re going to get into the nitty gritty of what these Buzzballz are all about.
What are Buzzballz?
Buzzballz are a brand of pre-mixed, tennis ball-shaped canned cocktails made with juices, creams, and spirits like vodka, rum, and/or tequila. Per the brand, Buzzballz should be shaken and then poured over ice. But who are we kidding? You’re drinking these babies right out of the ball.
How much alcohol is in Buzzballz?
Buzzballz are a whopping 15% ABV, meaning the contents of the ball is 15% alcohol. This makes a Buzzball 30 proof. There are two types of Buzzballz drinks: Chillers and Cocktails. Chillers are made with an orange wine base, while Cocktails are made with spirits. But regardless of whether you’re sipping a Cocktail or a Chiller, you’re still getting a 15% ABV beverage.
How many shots are in a Buzzball?
A Buzzball Cocktail contains the equivalent of 1.7 shots of alcohol. We can only hope that the remaining .3 of the shot left over is donated to charity, for those in need of some sauce. The type of alcohol in a Buzzball varies, depending on the cocktail. Some, like the Cran Blaster, are made with just vodka. But others, like the Strawberry ‘Rita, are made with vodka and tequila.
How many Buzzballz flavors are there? And what are they?
Buzzballz Cocktails come in 16 variety flavors with “extreme” names like Cran Blaster, Forbidden Apple, Lotta Colada, Choco Tease, and Horchata (look, they can’t all be in-your-face, sometimes you just want to know the flavor of the thing you’re drinking is). Some of the flavors, like Eggnog and Cookie Nookie, are seasonal.
Buzzballz also come in “Buzzballz Biggies” sizes, which are 1.75 liter bottles. Crush those at your own risk!
