The best nut milk is nutty and creamy. It should replicate the best aspects of dairy milk while standing out as its own product. And, if you’re lactose intolerant, it should provide you with an experience that makes you forget about classic cow’s milk entirely.
Whether you’re drinking it on its own, using it to bake, or dunking cookies into a big glass of it, we have a nut milk for you! We gathered some of the most popular nut milks on the market to see which we’re nuts about and which you’d be nutty to buy. These are the best nut milk brands—no ifs, ands, or nuts about it! Okay, I’m done.

- Three Trees Unsweetened Pistachio Milk
-
Three Trees Unsweetened Pistachio Milk is very interesting (and polarizing). The taste is pronounced and certainly unique. Gwynedd loved the pistachio flavor, but I thought it tasted a bit medicinal. I can’t argue that it’s flavorful, though! If you’re a pistachio fan, I’d recommend giving it a try. It definitely started to grow on me after a few sips. I’m not sure exactly how you’d utilize this, other than sipping on it to enjoy the flavor. I guess this is the whiskey of nut milk. It’s also the best pistachio milk we tried during our taste test!

- Milkadamia Lightly Sweetened Milk
-
Milkadamia Lightly Sweetened Milk is the best macadamia milk we tasted. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. And I’ll say this: nut milk needs sugar. If you’re using it for baking or a smoothie, I guess you can use something unsweetened. It is, however, so, so, so much better with a touch of sugar. Milkadamia has hit the nail on the head with the sweetness of this macadamia nut milk and that’s why we love it!

- Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew Milk
-
If you’re looking for the creamiest nut milk out there, it’s going to be cashew milk. Silk’s Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew Milk, to be exact. It is creamy dreamy (a thing I say when I consume something creamy or put lotion on my legs). This would be heavenly poured into coffee or tea and would cling beautifully to a cookie when dipped. If you are trying to leave whole milk behind and convert to a dairy-free alternative, this is your best bet. And it’s the best cashew milk on the market!

- Almond Breeze Original Almondmilk
-
Original Almond Breeze was the best almond milk we tried in our almond milk taste test. I don’t get a ton of nut flavor from it, but that’s what I like. It tastes like skim or 2% cow’s milk that’s just a little bit sweet. The vanilla isn’t too vanilla-y and there’s nothing artificial about it. I would happily grab a container of this almond milk instead of dairy milk any day of the week, because it’s the best nut milk out there.
