- Follow Your Heart Vegan Bleu Cheese Dressing
-
Follow Your Heart also makes the best vegan blue cheese dressing you can buy. In fact, it’s the only vegan blue cheese dressing I’ve ever tasted that’s actually edible. It’s super garlicky, herby, and creamy—it’s even a little funky, just like the best blue cheese dressing made with actual blue cheese. If you’re looking for the best dairy free salad dressing to satisfy cheesy cravings, Follow Your Heart is always a good bet. It’s also definitely the best vegan salad dressing to serve with vegan wings or Buffalo cauliflower. — Gwynedd Stuart

- Follow Your Heart Honey Mustard
-
Made with Vegenaise (vegan mayo) and a vegan honey alternative (a combo of brown rice syrup, agave nectar, maple syrup, and natural flavors), this creamy vegan salad dressing tastes exactly like a non-vegan honey mustard dressing. It’s thick and rich and sweet and zesty. It won’t clear your nasal passages like some honey mustard dressings, but it’s very good all the same. While I love this vegan salad dressing on a salad, I also think it’s the best vegan salad dressing on this list to use on a sandwich or mixed with some soft tofu to make a vegan tofu salad sandwich. — Justine Sterling

- Christo’s Yasou Greek Salad Dressing
-
Christo’s Yasou makes one of our favorite Greek salad dressings and it just happens to be vegan! The brand calls itself the “original Greek salad dressing.” I have no clue if that’s true, but I do know that this is some of the best vegan salad dressing you can buy. It’s oily, vinegary, and herby. Forget the feta (or opt for vegan feta—check out our best feta ranking to find our brand of choice) and make a vegan Greek salad with this! — Gwynedd Stuart

I love this vegan caesar dressing from Gotham greens. It’s easily the best vegan caesar dressing we’ve ever tasted. It tastes like it actually has parmesan cheese in it! It’s perfectly creamy and peppery and acidic. I would use this as a salad dressing, sandwich spread, dip, or drizzle for grilled veggies. It would be good on anything! — Gwynedd Stuart

- Annie’s Goddess
-
I tried both the classic version of this tahini vegan salad dressing and the “lite” version, and the classic is so much better, trust me. It’s thick and tangy and decadent—it’s a seriously creamy vegan salad dressing. It’s so thick you can definitely use it as a dip for veggies, but it’s also great on salads (whether they’re vegan or not—I had it on a steak salad and it was delicious). While this isn’t a vegan green goddess dressing—it doesn’t have the herbs—it does have that tangy yogurt-y quality of a green goddess dressing. Don’t try to pin it into a box. This is simply some of the best vegan salad dressing around. Enjoy it. — Justine Sterling

- Girard’s Olde Venice Italian Vinaigrette
-
Girard’s makes incredible salad dressings (in part because they use MSG!) and that includes one of the best Italian dressings you can buy at the grocery store. This one is a dairy free salad dressing and it’s packed with salty, umami, tangy goodness. Make an Italian chopped salad or sub sandwich with vegan meat, plant based cheese, and a splash of this plant based salad dressing, and it’s sure to be delicious. — Gwynedd Stuart

- Trader Joe’s Balsamic Vinaigrette
-
Trader Joe’s makes the best balsamic vinaigrette you can buy and it is vegan! Isn’t most balsamic vinaigrette vegan, you ask? A lot of it contains honey! And, for a lot of vegans, honey is a no-no. TJ’s uses straight-up sugar instead. But it’s still very good. It’s tangy, salty, and has an almost dairy-like creaminess despite being a dairy free salad dressing. This vegan salad dressing would please literally anyone, vegan or not. Pour some on arugula and you have a simple and delicious vegan side for dinner. — Gwynedd Stuart

This vegan salad dressing from Sprouts took the top spot in our best vegan ranch dressing ranking. It’s extremely creamy and chock-full of herbs. Plus, it has ranch’s signature tang.
