Bust out the 24-pack of light beer and that jersey you swore you’d burn when your team didn’t make it to the playoffs last year—football season is here! You know what that means, right? Yeah, a bunch of very large millionaires are going to manhandle each other for the next few months, but also you’re about to have a lot of opportunities to eat snacks, either in front of the TV or at a proper tailgate party. Fun, right? Well, it’s even more fun if you happen to live in a part of the country with a beloved regional snack so good that it automatically makes your team better than the other team, no matter who actually wins. Them’s the rules! We don’t make them, but we’re more than happy to play by them.
