The Best Things We Ate This Week (September 25-29)

Every week, the Sporked team sidles up to the tasting table and sets out to find the absolute best of the best packaged foods, the gold hidden in the grocery aisles. Each week we’ll bring you five standouts that truly rocked our taste buds and changed our lives—or at least our buying habits. Here are the best things we ate this week.

Supreme Brie Bites

These brie bites are creamy, mild, and perfectly portable. They’re so easy to throw in a lunchbox or grab as your running out of the house. They also seem really fancy if you put them on a cheeseboard. We love a product that can be dressed up or down!

Princella No Sugar Added Canned Sweet Potatoes

I would never think to buy canned yams. They feel so outdated to me. Plus, they’re for Thanksgiving, right? Wrong! These are so good and we should all be eating them yearround. They’re not too sweet and they’re crazy creamy. These would make a delicious side any weeknight.

Sour Patch Kids Apple Harvest

We taste a lot of new candy in the Sporked office and a lot of it is not good. These Apple Harvest Sour Patch Kids blew other seasonal candies out of the water. They have the ideal gummy texture and a great sugary coating. They’re shaped like little apples (rather than kids), and come in cranberry apple, apple cider, and caramel apple. All three flavors are wonderful. I would definitely buy these again.

Signature Select Seasons Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream

If you want the perfect pumpkin ice cream, look no further. This stuff is creamy, sweet, and has just the right amount of spice. The best part, in our opinion, are the chunks of pie crust in it. Pumpkin spice lovers, run to get this immediately!

Bob Evans Sour Cream & Chives Mashed Potatoes

You do not need to make mashed potatoes from scratch ever again. Bob Evans has figured out how to make the perfect ones, and they come from the refrigerated section of your grocery store. They are creamy, rich, and literally need nothing added.
