Spice sets on Amazon are a land of untapped potential. They fit right into the equation when you’re moving somewhere new and you’re already ordering so much stuff from Amazon that the driver knows you by name. Or maybe you finally decided to look at the expiration dates on the spices in your rack and discovered that they all went bad between two and ten years ago. You can get a bunch of fresh, new spices on Amazon in one fell swoop. Or hey, do you know someone who’s moving out on their own for the first time? Treat them to a spice set from Amazon! You’re such a good guy! Personally, I keep an eye on the best Amazon spice sets and toss one in my cart when I need something small but also need to get to the $35 minimum for free shipping (sorry, but I refuse to get sucked into Amazon Prime). These are the Amazon spice sets that you should keep in mind when you need an easy and convenient way to get more flavor into your life.
- McCormick Gourmet Spice Rack with Spices
-
Moving into a new place? Don’t waste your energy packing the dusty old spices you’ve had in your pantry since college—buy a brand new, full-stocked spice rack and move on with your life! This Amazon spice set comes with a whopping 24 bottles of McCormick Organic spices for around $77 dollars. That sounds like a lot of money, but do the math with me here: That’s just a little more than $3 a bottle, and McCormick organic spices can cost upward of $6 a bottle at the grocery store. That’s an insane deal. Sure, you might wind up with some spices you’ll never use—I don’t think I’ve ever required dry dill weed, but sure I like saying it. All in all, though, this is a great value and most of these are very commonplace—we’re talking turmeric, curry, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Use the money you saved on spices to buy a cookbook with recipes that call for dill weed.
- 365 Premium Spices and Seasonings Set
-
This Whole Foods 365 spice set from Amazon, which comes with nine spices, is small and mighty compared to our previous recommendation. This would be a good gift for a recent college grad getting their own place for the first time. Sorry kids, you can’t rely on the dining hall to feed you anymore! You get cayenne and crushed red pepper to heat things up when it’s chili night, as well as cream of tartar if they want to impress their old sorority pals down the street with a batch of snickerdoodle cookies. Either way, this Amazon spice set is a good gift (although they will still need some essentials—no kitchen should be without garlic powder).
- Flavor Brigade Gourmet Grilling Spices Gift Set
-
There’s an endless sea of Amazon spice sets that are designed for grilling, but this one struck me as unique for a couple of reasons. For the novice grill moms and dads, it breaks down grilling to five categories: burgers, steaks and chops, seafood, chicken, and general meat. There’s no guesswork. If that wasn’t easy enough, the Flavor Brigade also throws in a card that has a detailed list of everything you could use each blend for. There’s a lot to be nervous about when it comes to grilling! Make things just a little bit easier on yourself with this Amazon spice set.
- Natural Heaven 5 Piece Seasoning Set
-
This seasoning set from Amazon is crucial in saving a dish in the final moments, and it covers a wide range of scenarios with three meats and two common carbs in mind. You can sprinkle just a little extra smidge of flavor in a bowl of pasta you cooked up or elevate the very basic white rice that came with your in your Chinese takeout. The bottles are even small enough that you could take them on the go if you really don’t have faith in the restaurant you’re going to! Plus, all these seasoning blends in this Amazon spice set are vegan, sugar free, and gluten free.
- Flavor Mate No Salt Seasoning Blend Variety Pack
-
If you’re familiar with Mrs. Dash, this Amazon spice set will look familiar (Flavor Mate has very similar packaging). See, finding a set of premixed seasonings when you can’t add too much salt into your diet can be a real pain! These Flavor Mate spices are totally salt free, and they cover a lot of ground—there’s five in the set and you get Original Blend, Garlic & Herb, a Table Blend, Lemon Pepper seasoning, and even a Southwest Blend. This same set showed up on Walmart’s website for around $25 and it’s only $15 on Amazon. Even non-salt conscious consumer can get behind that kind of savings.
- FreshJax Seasoned Salt Starter Pack
-
Speaking of non-salt conscious consumers… Sure, you could argue that a seasoned salt set isn’t technically a spice set, but they all have spices in them so I think it’s worth talking about! And in my opinion, the world needs more seasoned salt, so it’s nice to see Amazon join in the good fight. It’s just smart living because you’re time if you’re not constantly reaching for two different bottles. This Amazon spice set costs $57, but that’s not a bad deal for ten bottles of fancy salt.
