The whole point of Halloween is to hand out as much candy as you possibly can. To your neighbors, your coworkers, your classmates, yourself—and where do you go when you need a buttload of candy to satisfy all the spooky moochers in your life? Costco, of course! The name of the game is buying in bulk and, boy, are we ready to spend. Here’s the best Costco halloween candy we spotted on a recent visit.
- Kirkland Signature All Chocolate Variety Bag
-
You can find this variety pack of Costco Halloween candy all year long, but spooky season is its time to shine! There’s a lot of candy out there to choose, but chocolate is what most trick-or-treaters really want, right? So do your part! The best thing about this mix of Halloween candy at Costco—which includes a whopping ten varieties of chocolate candy, including bangers like Peanut M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups—is that you’re bound to like one or two, so you can sneak those out of the bowl for yourself and your neighbors will be none the wiser! FWIW, this is also Sporked‘s favorite Halloween candy assortment.

- Kirkland Signature Funhouse Treats Variety Pack
-
This is the sugary yang to the chocolate yin, a fruity complement to the plethora of chocolate candy that’s being passed out on Halloween. A bag of Kirkland Signature Funhouse Treats comes with a wide assortment of sugary candies that is in fact too wide to list (but if you’re curious, think mini Twizzlers, Laffy Taffy, little packets of Haribo Goldbears, and Sour Punch Straws). If you get a lot of trick-or-treaters, I say grab this bag of Costco Halloween candy and the chocolate variety bag, too. You’ll be the most accommodating house on the block thanks to Costco!

- Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins
-
I love Reese’s Pumpkins more than I love my own friends and family. Okay, I’m exaggerating, but these things are peak Reese’s (and, honestly, there are a few people in my family I could do without). I’m one of many who love Halloween mostly because it brings beautiful Reese’s Pumpkins it brings our way. Why are they so good? They have the perfect chocolate-to-peanut butter ratio, better than regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. There are 65 of these beauts in this bag of Costco Halloween candy, so be sure to grab four of them! That’s right—two for trick-or-treaters, one for yourself, and one for me, because I’m your favorite Sporked contributor.

- Reese’s and Kit Kat Assortment
-
Sporked doesn’t sell a flag to hoist in your front yard (although you can buy one of our lovely hats or totes). Until that happens, you need a way to signal to your neighbors that you follow us and you’re in the know. That signal is this Costco Halloween candy mix of assorted Reese’s and Kit Kats! You get the classics (regular milk chocolate Kit Kats and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups), but you also get the new candies on the block (Ghost Toast Kit Kats and Reese’s Werewolf Tracks). This Halloween candy at Costco is very 2024. We don’t follow trends…unless they have to do with candy.

- Full Size Candy Bar Variety Pack
-
Everyone remembers the house on the block that handed out full-size candy bars. They were the pinnacle of wealth when you’re a child. Now you can be the full-size candy bar house for less than a dollar a bar thanks to this Costco variety pack that includes Skittles, Starburst, 3 Musketeers, M&M’s, Peanut M&M’s, and Snickers. Granted, the number of visitors you get on Halloween can vary depending on where you live, so it can get a little pricey. If you’re willing to cough up that kind of cash to get some serious street cred around the neighborhood, this is the best Costco Halloween candy to buy.

- Utz Halloween Pretzels
-
Every kid is going to have a heaping bag full of candy by the end of the night. What they need is a bit of saltiness to even things out when they’re digging in. That’s where the Utz Hallowen pretzels from Costco come in to save the day! They’re already individually packaged so you don’t have to bring out the Ziploc bags or awkwardly dish them out by the handful. Plus, the packets come in a giant tub that you can reuse for all your storage needs. It’s not the most glamorous pick from Costco, but it’s a savvy one.

- Oreo Cookies Variety Pack
-
The coolest houses in the neighborhood on Halloween are ones that set themselves apart. A Costco membership unlocks a plethora of variety packs to choose from to do just that. You could be the house that hands out bags of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos or of course little two-cookie packets of Oreo cookies. I mean come on, how freaking cute are those?! Whichever you end up choosing, you’ll certainly stand out amid a sea of homes handing out candy.
