Rico’s Nacho Cheese is giving 100% movie theater, little league baseball game, 7-Eleven liquid cheese deliciousness. This nacho cheese is so so so nostalgic. It rides the line between something actually good and something so bad it’s good. I call this perfection. A fancy French chef might think this is disgusting, but I don’t care. I think this made-up pretentious chef is a jerk anyway! Rico’s Nacho Cheese is delicious and definitely one of the best nacho cheeses we tried.

This is good. Can you believe it?! We certainly couldn’t. It’s delicious, though. My apologies, Doritos. First of all, this is actually spicy. It has a real kick that was quite unexpected. The cheesy base is creamy and rich. You would send your tastebuds straight to space if you made nachos with this cheese and actual Nacho Cheese Doritos instead of regular tortilla chips. Add some pickled jalapenos and refried beans and you have a truly iconic plate of nachos.

To be clear, this is not the same as Tostitos queso (one of the best queso brands out there). This comes in a tiny plastic container and you will typically find it at a gas station. It should, however, be sold at specialty food stores and boutique markets because it’s that good. This is so sensationally flavorful for such a tiny, simple-looking product. It’s also so genius because it’s perfect for a single serving of nachos. Lots of other nacho cheese sauce comes in gigantic cans or jars. You have to make a lot of nachos to make it worth cracking open a 107-ounce can of cheese. Not with this, though! It’s time for a solo date night with myself and a plate of nachos.

El Mexicano Nacho Cheese Sauce is perfect. It’s creamy. It’s buttery. It’s spicy. There are absolutely no notes. I would use this to make nachos or pour it over a chimichanga or just dip my fingers into it and consume alone. This nacho cheese is not just the best nacho cheese on the market, it’s also one of the cheapest. Planning on having a really fun weekend? You can also buy a six-pound can of this stuff. Anybody have a birthday coming up?
