Happy belated Independence Day to those who observe, and happy almost-my-half-birthday, but perhaps most importantly, happy Aldi finds day! That’s right, today is the day we tell you which July Aldi finds we are absolutely itchin’ to try, when they will hit shelves, and how much they cost. So buckle your seatbelts and get ready to hear about a bunch of stuff you had no idea you needed until Aldi dreamed it up.
- Kirkwood Sports Shaped Chicken Nuggets (In stores now, $6.29)
-
YOU GUYS. These are exactly what they sound like. Aldi has blessed us with sports-shaped chicken nuggets. You can now tell your friends you have dabbled in baseball, football, tennis, and soccer (-shaped chicken nuggets). Get these for the athletic clout or get these for the sweet, sweet nuggs. Either way, there is no way these are a bad time.
- Sundae Shoppe Mini Fruit Coated Bars (Available July 24, $4.49)
-
These new frozen treats look absolutely delectable—a frozen fruity layer around a vanilla ice cream bar. They look like mini creamsicles, but instead of orange, they come in a variety pack that includes both “mixed berry” and “tropical fruit” flavors. These seem like perfect little treats to beat the summer heat.
- Sundae Shoppe Cookie Dough or Toffee Gelato Bites (Available July 17, $3.99)
-
Do you hate gelato because you have to eat it with a spoon instead of your bare hands? Well, these gelato bites solve that problem. They’re like the gelato version of Dibs, i.e. chocolate-covered cubes of gelato you can bite or pop in your mouth whole (note: I have no idea how big these are or how big your mouth is, so please proceed with caution). Plus, they come in two new flavors this month—cookie dough and toffee—so you really can’t go wrong here.
- Emporium Selection Mac ‘n’ Cheese Blend and Hot Honey Blend Shredded Cheese (Available July 17, $2.49)
-
Yes, you read that right: Later this month you can buy not only a bangin’ looking mac and cheese-specific shredded cheese blend, you can also get hot honey-flavored shredded cheese. It is a blend of cheddar and mozzarella with “hot honey flavored seasoning” whatever that means, but y’all al(rea)di know I really want to know what that means. Imagine that stuff melted on a pizza or in a grilled cheese! Oooooooh boy.
- Park Street Deli Pineapple Jalapeño or Sweet Chili Mango Dip (Available July 17, $3.39)
-
It is unclear if these new dips are dairy-based, chickpea-based, or something-else-based (seems like maybe dairy), but no matter their main ingredient, both of these flavor combos—pineapple jalapeño and sweet chili mango—sound divine. I’m always down for a blend of sweet and spicy, and these new dips seem like they’ll deliver on that. Plus, I don’t really mind not knowing what their base is before I get to the store—it kind of adds to the intrigue of it all, and I can’t wait to find out for myself!
- Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Hot Honey Hawaiian Party Flatbread (Available July 24, $6.99)
-
This new Mama Cozzi flatbread flavor sounds really hot, in more ways than one. It’s got hot honey pizza sauce (hot), melty shredded cheese (hawt), pineapple (hot, especially on pizza, you can disagree, hey, it’s okay to be wrong), jalapeño peppers (hot, in the classic sense), and julienned ham (once you heat this pizza up, this too will be hot). So if you are trying to have a hot girl summer, this pizza kind of seems like the cheesy cheat code you have been waiting for.
