Welcome to 10 Items or Less! A series in which we create a 10-item-or-less grocery haul for our favorite food-loving celebrities.
Today we’re shopping for Sam Reich, writer, producer, director, game show host, and the head honcho at CollegeHumor. This extremely funny man is also a food lover, so he was an obvious choice for this series. Our food suggestions might end up being a total game changer for his grocery shopping.
- Waterloo Peach Sparkling Water
-
One of Sam’s most recent videos is about LaCroix flavors he wishes existed in real life. I am here to let him know that he doesn’t need new LaCroix flavors. What he needs is to try Waterloo Sparkling Water. The peach flavor was one of the best seltzers we tried in our seltzer taste test.
- Pacific Foods Organic Creamy Tomato Soup
-
One time, I saw Sam Reich in real life at a popular soup buffet restaurant chain that is now closed (RIP). Because of this, I know he loves soup. I think all soup lovers should be buying Pacific Foods Organic Creamy Tomato Soup. It was the best tomato soup in our tomato soup taste test for a reason. This soup is good. Sam loves soup. It’s perfect!
- MAMA Artificial Chicken Flavored Instant Noodles
-
Sam runs a company called CollegeHumor. College students love ramen. He needs to try our favorite packaged ramen from our ramen taste test. This isn’t perfect logic, but I do think he’d like it because it’s delicious!
- Dave’s Killer Bread Epic Everything Organic Bagels
-
Like me, Sam used to live in New York City. Any former New York resident misses one thing when they move: bagels. They’re not as good as New York bagels (duh), but I want Sam to try Dave’s Killer Bread’s Epic Everything Organic Bagels. They topped our best bagel list and are a great option when you can’t hop on a plane and get to NYC.
- 365 Whole Foods Whipped Cream Cheese
-
Every good bagel needs a good cream cheese and I would recommend 365’s whipped cream cheese. It’s rich, creamy, and spreadable. It was one of our best cream cheeses and Sam would like it on his perfect at-home bagel.
- Authentic Seafood of Patagonia Latitude 45 Atlantic Salmon
-
Last but not least, any good NY-style bagel needs some kind of delicious fish. Authentic Seafood of Patagonia Latitude 45 Atlantic Salmon is the best smoked salmon you can buy at the grocery store. With that, his DIY NYC bagel at home is complete!
- Cocoa Pebbles
-
Every adult male comedian I know loves cereal. They eat it regularly. I’m assuming Sam is the same. Because of that, I’m throwing a box of Cocoa Pebbles into his cart. It’s legitimately the best cereal in the world so even if he doesn’t love cereal, he’ll still like this one.
- Maille Dijon Originale
-
According to IMDB, Sam Reich played “Uncredited Eurotrash” in 2006’s The Pink Panther with Steve Martin. In honor of that, I’m getting him one of my favorite European products: Maille Dijon Originale.
- The Pink Sauce
-
Adam Ruins Everything, a show that featured Sam as an Executive Producer, had an entire episode about how calories and other info on food labels can be inaccurate. If the labels on food don’t matter, I’m getting Sam some Pink Sauce. Why not?
- Bar Harbor New England Style Clam Chowder
-
Sam is originally from Massachusetts so I would feel bad if I didn’t get him a can of chowder. Bar Harbor New England Style Clam Chowder is simply the best canned chowder and any good New England boy should be able to taste that.
