It’s April and that means one absolutely terrible thing: the end of Girl Scout Cookie season is upon us. There will no longer be tiny, persuasive children standing outside your grocery store hocking $5 boxes of their delicious and irresistible, limited-time-only cookies. Not to fret, though. You can actually get Girl Scout Cookies year-round (well, sorta).
Brands have smelled the desperation wafting off us seasonal cookie lovers and finally have answered our prayers. While you should be purchasing cookies from the source when they are available, here is a roundup of knockoff Girl Scout Cookies to buy when the actual Girl Scouts aren’t selling their wares.

But, you know what they say: “It’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.” These Goodie Girl cookies are a pretty good dupe if you are craving the no longer sold GS cookie. They also get bonus points for being free of gluten, peanuts, eggs, and dairy, making them vegan and allergen friendly. Take that, Girl Scouts!

There are, however, two main differences between the versions of lemon cookies. Signature Select’s Lemon Shortbread Cookies have a better distribution of icing on the bottom of the cookies, which is a huge improvement on the Lemon-Ups. Signature Select’s version also lacks the motivational phrases featured on Lemon-Ups. To be honest, I prefer my cookies without words of affirmation. I don’t need a side of cheese with my cookies.

Credit: Ryan Martin / Ralph’s Caramel deLites, watch your back. Kroger makes Coconut & Caramel Fudge Cookies that are pretty dang delicious and a spitting image of the iconic cookies. Shockingly, they were able to mimic the iconic texture of Samoas so I can still have a Samoas experience when my stash of real Samoas runs out. And, much like their GS cookie twin, these absolutely will convince you that you like coconut.

Credit: Ryan Martin / Walmart Lucky for us, Walmart put much more effort into making these cookies than they did naming these cookies. They strike the perfect balance of peanut butter to cookie to fudge, just like Tagalongs (Rhett & Link’s favorite Girl Scout cookie)!

Credit: Ryan Martin / Ralph’s Another tragic name for another delicious cookie, so let’s just focus on the delicious part. The shape is slightly different, but the taste is 100% authentic Do-si-dos. If you’re a peanut butter fan, add these to your grocery list any time of year.
Have you tried the Winco brand of some of these? I really like the mint fudge cookies. They are quite a bit bigger than Thin Mints are, and they are really tasty.
Honestly do not sleep on those Great Value PB Fudge cookies.
The Great Value chocolate peanut butter cookies are absolutely filled with crack cocaine. And they are under $2, which is just crazy. Great Value’s version of Samoas are pretty good too. I love that Sporked continues to rep for Great Value products.

It’s been a while since I’ve had them but I remember Dollar General’s versions of girl scout cooking being great.
Aldi’s has Samoas and Tagalongs that are made by the same manufacturer!
