What New Mountain Dew Flavors Are Coming in 2025? Everything We Know

This year has been a VERY exciting year for Mountain Dew. Baja Blast became a permanent flavor, we got two new Baja Blast Spinoff flavors, the Patriotic-themed DEWs made their triumphant return, and VooDEW is hitting soon, followed by a return of Game Fuel. Whew! Quite the year for Mountain Dew, if I dew say so myself.

Well, dear Dew drinker, the fun doesn’t stop there. Thanks to Mountain Dew Supernova Superstan @teamsupernovafb, we got a look at what you can expect from Mountain Dew in 2025. Here we go.

More Ways to Drink Baja Blast

So as we’d found out this year, Baja Blast is now a permanent flavor and will continue to be available on shelves going into (and throughout) 2025. What’s more, though, is that sources tell us that starting in January, you’ll have more ways of enjoying Baja Blast. Two-liter bottles will roll out nationwide, 24-packs of 12oz cans (currently only available at Walmart) will roll out nationwide, and 12-packs of 16.9oz bottles will drop at Walmart. Note: this is only for the full sugar formula, not zero.

A New(ish) Baja Blast Spinoff

Previously, we brought you news on two potential Baja Blast Spinoffs for 2025: Paloma Punch and Cabo Citrus. According to our sources, only one Baja Blast Spinoff will actually debut in 2025. It seems to be Cabo Citrus under a new name: Baja Citrus Sunrise. Sources say this will be a lime and grapefruit flavor sold in 12-packs and 20oz bottles. It should drop in April.

Here’s the catch though: It will only be available in zero sugar. I expect this to be a very polarizing decision. It’s possible that this may be the new Taco Bell-exclusive flavor that has been rumored to be in testing, and perhaps Taco Bell will have exclusive rights to the full sugar formula. Only time will tell!

Red, White, and Blue Dew Will Return

That’s right! The red, white, and blue Dews—Star Spangled Splash, Freedom Fusion, and Liberty Chill respectively—were an absolute hit this year, so PepsiCo has decided to bring them back in 2025. Sources say these patriotic Dews will hit shelves in June, and we will have a 28-pack variety pack to look forward to, as well!

A New Halloween Dew

As @TeamSupernovaFB has been teasing on Twitter, VooDEW will not be returning in 2025. Sources tell us that instead we’ll be getting a VooDEW-ish flavor. It won’t be a mystery, but it will be made in collaboration with a top Halloween candy brand. In fact, we hear that the candy collab will be featured right on the label. We also hear that when this new Mountain Dew flavor drops in September of 2025, it will be available in full-sugar only. No zero.

Game Fuel Is Shaking Up the Lineup

Sources tell us that everybody’s favorite—Cherry Citrus Game Fuel—will make another triumphant return in November of 2025 (it’s happening this year, too). But this time is a little bit different: Instead of releasing a spinoff flavor alongside Citrus Cherry, Mountain Dew is going to offer a Citrus Cherry ZERO SUGAR! Sources say both Game Fuel flavors will be available in both 12-packs and 20oz bottles.

While the world of soda and Dew is always changing, one thing is for certain: We are DEFINITELY going to be DEWing the DEW in 2025.
